Happy Birthday, Everything Awesome & Important!

1st-bday-cakeSorry I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been in Washington D.C.!

Today is our one year anniversary. I can’t believe that I’ve had my blog for one whole year, and hope it’ll be around for many more. Special thanks to my amazing dad who helped me create this blog. Without his time and patience, there would be no blog at all.

I’d love to hear what you hope to read next or a favorite post I’ve already written. Thanks for all of your continuous support!

I have had so much fun reading your posts. Because it’s been a whole year since you started your blog, I can’t choose a favorite out of all your amazing writing. You’ve done a great job! (-:

So excited for you about this milestone, Allison! I’m so glad you will have some downtime over the summer to enjoy writing on your blog. Looking forward to what you produce…especially Daddy’s challenge to you.:-)

    Dear Allison,

Happy Birthday to EA&I. I enjoy reading all your posts. And you give me too much credit. You do this thing on your own!
I anticipate that you will keep up with the fictional series stuff, but I would love to see more nonfiction entries. One of my favorites was the post about the park where you invited someone to come to eat with our church.

Would you consider writing a journalism piece that demands your observation and interpretation skills but does not involve you directly? I know I’m biased–that is what I’ve written and edited as a means of making a living for more than 20 years. But I do it because truth can be very interesting when handled well. What do you say? I could give you an assignment for Matthew’s Hope and all your readers can watch the process as you compile and write and rewrite. Or you can just post the final version. Or not.

    Your biggest fan,

Thanks Daddy! I feel bad I’ve told you so many times that yes, I’ll help you out. So as long as the process is during the summer (sorry, school’s just so busy, especially the first few weeks) I think I’d like that new challenge. After all, journalism is something I haven’t really tried. And I may love it.

      So bring it on.
